Part 1. Can You Chromecast Apple Music?
Chromecast is a Google product that's designed to work seamlessly with Google's streaming services, such as YouTube Music and Spotify.
Even Apple Music is not included, it's still possible to Chromecast Apple Music to your TV or speakers using a few workarounds using an Android device, Google Home app or Chrome web browser. This way, you have the ability to cast Apple Music to Chromecast for playing on Google Home speaker, Android TV, or other Chromecast-enabled devices.
If you use Apple Music on your iPhone, I'm afraid to say that you cannot cast from it, since Apple uses AirPlay, which can't connect to Chromecast. However, as a workaround, what you can do is using the Chrome browser to cast a Google Chrome tab that's logged into Apple Music to the Chromecast, which will play music like normal. However, you would need a computer or Android in that situation.
If you use Android device, you need to make your device is fully prepared to access the Cast Audio feature:
Make sure you're not running "Power Saving Mode" on your Android device. This can limit the processing power of your device which could affect the performance of the Cast Audio feature.
Way 1. Cast Apple Music to Chromecast using an Android Device
If you have an Android device, you can download the Apple Music app from the Google Play Store and use it to Chromecast to your TV or speakers. Ensure that your Android device is running Android 8.0 or later.
Note: Now all content types in Apple Music support Casting, and not all Chromecast devices are supported.
Step 1. On your Android device, open the Apple Music app. If you haven't, go to Google Play store to download and install the latest version of the Apple Music app.
Step 2. Sign in to your Apple Music account. If you haven't, sign up for it and choose a subscription plan before everything.
Step 3. Simply connect your Chromecast to your TV or speakers.
Step 4. Connect your Android device and Chromecast to the same Wi-Fi network.
Step 5. Play anything on Apple Music that you want to cast to your TV or speakers.
Step 6. Tap the Cast icon at the top of your screen.
Step 7. Choose your Chromecast device and the music will be streamed to your TV or speakers.
Way 2. Cast Apple Music to Chromecast using the Google Home app
You can use the Google Home app on your mobile device to cast the audio from the Apple Music app to your Chromecast-enabled device.
Step 1. Connect your Chromecast-enabled device to your TV and make sure it's connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your mobile device.
Step 2. Download and open the Google Home app on your mobile device.
Step 3. Tap the "+" icon in the top left corner of the screen to add a new device.
Step 4. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your Chromecast device.
Step 5. Open the Apple Music app on your mobile device and start playing the song or playlist you want to stream to your Chromecast.
Step 6. Tap the "Now Playing" bar at the bottom of the screen to open the player.
Step 7. Tap the "AirPlay" icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Step 8. Select your Chromecast-enabled device from the list of available devices.
Step 9. The audio from Apple Music should now be streaming to your Chromecast-enabled device.
Note that this workaround may not provide the best audio quality and there may be some lag or delay between the audio and video.
Way 3. Cast Apple Music to Chromecast using the Chrome Browser
If you have a computer with the Google Chrome browser installed, you can use it to Chromecast Apple Music to your TV or speakers.
Step 1. On your computer device, open Chrome and navigate to the Apple Music web player (music.apple.com) and log in with your Apple ID.
Step 2. Start playing the music you want to cast to your TV or speakers.
Step 3. Click the three dots icon in the top right corner of the browser.
Step 4. Select Cast.

However, if you have downloaded your Apple Music songs to your device and they're not protected by DRM, you can use the AllCast app to cast them to your TV or other compatible devices that support casting. All you need is a powerful Apple Music downloader called ViWizard Audio Converter to download your favorite Apple Music content types to audio files, so that you can cast them to your Chromecast device.
