Part 1. How to Download and Register ViWizard Audible Converter
Step 1Download ViWizard Audible Converter
ViWizard Audible Converter is compatible with both Mac and Windows. Simply download and install the version that matches your system. Follow the on-screen instructions, and you're ready to go.
Step 2Register ViWizard Audible Converter
The free trial of ViWizard Audible Converter lets you convert only the first 30 seconds of each audiobook. To unlock all features and convert your full Audible audiobooks, you can purchase a license. Then, click the Register icon in the converter and enter the licensed email address and the registration code you received after purchase.
Note: Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after your email or license code, as both are case-sensitive.
Part 2. How to Download and Convert Audible Books to MP3 via ViWizard Audible Converter
Step 1Sign in to Your Audible Account
Open ViWizard Audible Converter on your computer. ViWizard will launch the Audible web player (audible.com) directly within the converter and you can browse and select audiobooks from Audible. You'll need to log in with your Audible account credentials to access your purchased audiobooks.
Note: ViWizard won't store any personal data. Your login is only used to load your audiobooks.
Step 2Customize Output Audiobook Settings
Click the menu icon (three lines) in the top-right corner and select Preferences. In the settings window, choose your desired output format (MP3, Lossless, M4A, M4B, WAV, FLAC, or AIFF) and adjust parameters like sample rate, bitrate, and channels. You can also set the output folder and how the output files are named. When you're finished, click OK to apply the changes.
Step 3Add Your Audible Books to ViWizard
In the built-in Audible web player, search for a specific title to download or browse your Audible library. Click the Plus button at the bottom right to add a single audiobook or your entire library to the converter.
Step 4Select Audiobooks for Download
After adding audiobooks, ViWizard will pop up a window where you can select which titles to download and convert. You can choose all with one click or pick titles individually. Once done, click the Add to List button, and your selected audiobooks will be added to the conversion list.
Step 5Split the Audiobook (Optional)
In the conversion list, hover your mouse over the book title to reveal the split icon, then click it. A pop-up window will appear where you can choose the split mode: by chapters, by time, by average segments, or no split. After making your selection, click OK to save your settings.
Step 6Start Converting and Downloading Audible Audiobooks
Click the Convert button at the bottom right of the conversion list to start converting and downloading your selected Audible books. During the process, ViWizard will follow your output preferences and save the converted files to the folder you specified.
Step 7Access Your Converted Audible Books
After the conversion is complete, click the History button to view all your converted audiobooks. You can play them directly using the built-in audio player, which includes basic playback controls and a speed controller. To locate the files, simply click the folder icon to open the folder where your converted audiobooks are saved.
Step 8Edit Audible Book Tags for Better Organization (Optional)
Hover over the book title and click the i icon. In the pop-up window, you can click Auto-fill to load the basic audiobook information. If you'd like to customize the tags, you can also manually edit details like title, genre, album, cover, comments, and more. When you're finished, click OK to save the edited tags.
