Step 1. Download Last.fm Desktop App
Go to the download page of Last.fm Desktop Scrobber or Legacy Last.fm Desktop App > DOWNLOAD NOW FOR WINDOWS or DOWNLOAD NOW FOR MAC.
Once the download completes, follow the instruction on screen to install the Last.fm app on desktop as well as to access your Last.fm account to it.

Step 2. Select iTunes to Enable
While the iTunes has been enabled in the Legacy Last.fm Desktop App when installing it to the Windows or Mac, you should enable iTunes in the Settings of Last.fm Desktop Scrobbler for Windows: find the Last.fm icon in the taskbar, then right-click it to open the options menu > Settings > iTunes, then check iTunes option to enable.
Note: You should also check Show Notifications in Settings of Last.fm Desktop Scrobbler.
Step 3. Connect iTunes to Last.fm
Once the iTunes has been enabled for last.fm software, notice the difference between these 2 applications.
On Windows & Mac to connect Apple Music to Last.fm in desktop app:
Open the desktop app and then the iTunes, then stream a song from the iTunes Library. You can check the Now Playing, Scrobbles, Profile and Friends in the application, which is a short process.
Tips: While the Windows version tells the last time when you listen to some specific songs (For example: Taylor Swift's London Boy - 17 minutes ago), the Mac version will even tell you how many times you've listened to them.
On Windows to connect Apple Music to Last.fm in desktop scrobbler:
Open iTunes for Windows PC and keep the desktop scrobbler running in the background. When you stream a song from the iTunes Library, a notification will pop up to show the song you as Now Playing.
To check your last.fm profile, you should find the program running in the background to right-click it, then View your Last.fm Profile, which will direct you to profile page.
